BikesMV Agusta To Join Hands With Kinetic To Bring Its Two Wheelers In To IndiaIt looks like Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta is expected to launch their bikes in India by joining hands with Kinetic Group.
The Pune-based Kinetic Engineering which sold its two wheeler business to Mahindra is expected to set up a dealership network for MV Agusta pretty soon.
Firsly, it is expected that MV Agusta might be bringing its premium bikes as CBUs into India, but later the company may opt to CKD assembly of bikes in India. This possibility occurs due to the partnership with Kinetic.
MV Agusta is not the first European motorcylce brand to make its presence in India. We have already seen companies like Triumph, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, Benelli, BMW Motorrad and Ducati tasting the tremendous growth of premium two wheelers in an emerging market.
MV Agusta's step into India might be a step ahead of its global presence which sells about 10,000 bikes every year globally.
This partnership between Kinetic and MV Agusta seems to be a win-win situation among both the brands as this might help Kinetic to be revived as a brand in India while Kinetic Engineering has already been an existing partner with MV Agusta.
